Filament round earrings in recycled sterling silver with gold vermeil

These round netted earrings have simple lines for day wear yet make a dynamic statement for evenings and special occasions. Each drop earring is multi-layered, combining together a graduated set of three separate filaments that swing and dangle freely on the earring hook and represent the wild marram grass in the breeze. Each of these elegant earrings includes a single gold vermeil element, which contrasts against the silver like a shaft of sunshine highlighting the shoreline.
At our North Wales workshop we taper and shape the individual silver elements by hand, soldering each one at the cross over point before finishing the silver to a high polish or a soft satin sheen. They are created using tapered square wire and hang on a 0.8mm silver hook ear wire. The Filament collection hook earrings also come with a silver scroll for added security. All pieces are individually created and as such subtle differences occur making each pair of earrings unique. The earrings bear our makers mark and British hallmark.
These earrings are made from responsibly sourced 100% certified recycled sterling silver.

Blue sky beach days on Anglesey’s shores are encapsulated in the Filament collection. Inspired by the marram grass that dances amongst the dunes; sun-bleached and fading from spring green to gold. Each element of these elegant designs is hand-formed and created in recycled sterling silver with selected pieces incorporating highlights of gold vermeil.
